OUR HISTORY

Scimitar Temple was originally chartered as Al Amin Temple in 1905 we a group of Sahara Nobles who lived in Little Rock began the second temple in the state of Arkansas.

During the Great Depression Al Amin, like other organizations of the time, Had to declare bankruptcy. The Shrine Temple was dissolved, and a new temple was created named Scimitar Temple.
